At Valtus, Europe’s Leading Interim Management company, we take Corporate Social Responsibility seriously and have a robust programme of engagement and charitable work.

Our dedication to doing more for our community was a key part of the culture at Alium Partners and it continued to thrive when Alium Partners became part of Valtus.

The cornerstones of our programme are:

  • Community – establishing charity partnerships and volunteering schemes
  • Environment – we employ sustainable environmental practices throughout our business
  • Workplace – promote a healthy work environment for our team, Managers and Partners
  • Marketplace – work with suppliers, candidates and clients to ensure an ethical supply chain

As part of our outreach work, we support young people with leadership potential in their ambition to rise above the restrictions placed on them by societal pressures.

We encourage and enhance their innate skills, share interview preparation techniques and mentor them through application processes. Many go on to successful roles in global firms.

As Alium Partners and now as Valtus, we have been recognised year on year for our CSR achievements. In 2015 we were awarded the Lord Mayor’s Dragon Award, supporting the Uprising: Fastlaners programme, which helps to address high youth unemployment in the east end of London. Our staff volunteers worked with young graduates who faced barriers to the workplace hosting interview days, director-led mentoring sessions, and advice on networking, to help the young candidates increase their confidence and boost their chances of employment. After just 3 months, 50 per cent of the young people had successfully entered the workplace.

CITY GIVING DAY

Valtus (formerly Alium Partners) are proud supporters of City Giving Day by The Lord Mayor’s Appeal. The event celebrates local business support to charities throughout the year and turns the Square Mile into a fundraising hub on the day. We have been positively engaged with the appeal for many years and assist the steering committee in decisions that affect the running of the event.
