MANAGER TESTIMONIALS

Valtus Assignment: Digital Banking

On onboarding
“Interviewing was rigorous but not excessive. I felt I was given ample information and detailed insight into the client’s needs… Valtus had an effective and efficient process, with all paperwork already in place to the satisfaction of both myself and the client.

On the Client, Manager Partner Relationship
“In over 10 years of working on interim assignments, this was the most challenging I have ever had. The company was in a state of transition. My deliverable was right at the heart of informing this decision, and this meant my assignment was very sensitive… I addressed this by keeping in close contact with Nigel… Having Nigel watching my back was essential. His close direct relationship with the major shareholder was critical and helped ensure the assignment stayed on track. He was able to feed back some of my observations about the challenges faced by the company, and give advice on how best to proceed. This aspect of “value-add” for the client – and for me – made a great deal of difference.

Andrew McMillan

Valtus Assignment: Pharmaceutical

On onboarding:
“I found it very straightforward and efficient. In terms of explanation of roles I have been in, the introduction to the client was well presented and professional.

On the Client, Manager Partner Relationship
“The key benefit I got from it was indirect feedback on my performance from his conversations with the CEO, nothing he didn’t know about, but great reassurance. That worked well.

Workshop Participant – The Voice of the CXO in the room

On the Valtus Process:
“The communication with Valtus was timely, clear and concise”

On the client workshop:
“For me this was a hugely rewarding learning experience. I was one of 3 CXOs who was invited to work with the group to simulate the experiences of clients undergoing large digital transformation programmes. Being able to perceive, analyse and understand the “transactional dynamic” between a client and their potential advisors was hugely valuable. The unintended consequence for me in working with the facilitator, the other CXOs and the partners on the programme was that I took as much learning away as the others. The concept of the Sherpa when consulting with a client was particularly compelling.
This was a fascinating experience and a great opportunity for me to return to Dublin.”

On working with Valtus on future assignments:
“I’d be delighted to work with Valtus as and when the right opportunities present themselves. I have confidence that the Valtus team has me on their radar.”
